If the magnetic force of the mineral particles is greater than the sum of the mechanical forces received, it will be adsorbed on the surface of the PTMS magnetic separator cylinder as a concentrate, and otherwise it will remain in the pulp and be discharged as tailings. The motor drives the cylinder through the reducer. The magnetic system is mostly open magnetic system, installed in the cylinder interior, the magnet is currently used Ndfeb or electromagnetic materials, the magnet is installed in the interior fixed on the yoke plate, the tank is made of stainless steel, and other parts of the frame can be welded with ordinary steel.
The strong magnetic mineral particles are subject to a larger magnetic force and can overcome the mechanical force, so PTMS magnetic separator has the advantage. Non-magnetic or very weak magnetic mineral particles are not received or subjected to a small magnetic force, so the mechanical force is dominant.
Mineral particles with different magnetic properties have different motion trajectories due to their different magnetic and mechanical forces. PTMS magnetic separator can separate mineral particles into two or more separate products according to their magnetic properties.
