PTMS magnetic separator equipment needs special attention during operation
Time: Jul 22,2023

Wet type Electromagnetic Separator

If the ore stops running, the magnetic medium will be blocked. Under normal circumstances, the operation of the ore cannot be stopped. In case of emergency, the power should be turned off first, and then the mine should be closed. In any case, PTMS magnetic separator outages must stop mining. Every shift should check whether the magnetic medium is loose, the pressure rod pin is broken, the rod medium should check whether the pressure bolt is loose,

If the problem is found, the PTMS magnetic separator should be stopped immediately to avoid excessive loss of magnetic medium or ring sticking.

Pay attention to check the height of the liquid level and confirm that its height is consistent with the height of the overflow surface of the liquid level barrel.

Check whether the pressure of the water supply is normal, and the cooling water pressure of the rectifier needs to be controlled within the range of 0.03 to 0.15mpa.

Confirm that the water yield and temperature of cooling water are normal, and ensure that the water temperature does not exceed 70 ° C.

Check that the pulsating part and the rotating ring are operating properly, and that the excitation voltage and current are within the required range.

If the cooling water pressure is too low or the excitation circuit is short, the rectifier protection device will automatically disconnect the excitation power supply and the PTMS magnetic separator alarm device will automatically sound an alarm.
