Frequently asked questions

Short answers about designing processing and purification lines for kaolin, potassium-sodium feldspar, silica sand and quartz. Price on request.

Should a potassium-sodium feldspar line use a wet route or a dry powder route?

Wet processing is the common choice for a potassium-sodium feldspar line. Our wet line crushes the ore, grinds it in a ball mill in closed circuit, screens at 200 mesh, removes slimes, takes iron out in two stages of electromagnetic slurry separation and dewaters the product; our reference design is a 250 TPD turnkey wet plant at 200-mesh fineness. A dry powder route is the secondary case: a buffer bin feeds ball-mill grinding, air classification, dry electromagnetic iron removal and dust control, ending in semi-automatic bagging; it is our 2017 India reference, and a Raymond-mill dry-grinding variant is shown in our videos. We confirm the route from your ore assay, target product (ceramic or glass grade) and the result of your sample test, but for most feldspar deposits we start from the wet route.

What does a whole-line design from Magnet China include?

A whole-line design from Magnet China runs from your inquiry and feed data (ore type, particle size, capacity, impurity levels and product targets) and a 5–10 kg sample test, through a flowsheet and plant layout matched to your ore, to an equipment selection with sizes and quantities. After the design is agreed, the project follows our engineering process:

  1. You send drawings of the land and plant for the on-site survey, with heights and column positions marked, plus the water and electricity layout.
  2. After the deposit is received, we place the equipment order with the suppliers; the suppliers' equipment parameters and base installation drawings are passed on to you.
  3. Based on the suppliers' base installation drawings, we issue the infrastructure drawing for the whole production line.
  4. You build the foundations and infrastructure according to that drawing.
  5. We provide the field installation drawings for the equipment as it arrives.
  6. After the balance is paid, all equipment is shipped to site, ideally when your infrastructure is complete. Our engineers guide the installation by online video; an engineer can also attend on site for a service fee.
  7. Once installation is finished, our engineers guide you through power-up and the test run.
  8. After a successful test run, the line goes into production.
  9. When production is running successfully, the project is completed and handed over for use.

Payment milestones are agreed in the contract. Detailed equipment lists with model codes and power, layout drawings, process-flow details and lab test data are available to registered members only. Prices are given on request after engineering review, not published on the site.

How do I get a free ore test for my kaolin, feldspar, silica sand or quartz?

The free ore test is a benefit for registered members. Register on the Members page; registration is free and we confirm your request with you on WhatsApp before sending your login link. Then send a 5–10 kg sample of your ore. Every ore is different, so a real sample is needed: we run the test in our lab and deliver a test report within 5 days of receiving the sample. The result guides how many iron-removal stages your line needs and whether acid washing is required. WhatsApp / WeChat: 0086-13929907491.

More detail per mineral is on the line pages and in How we design.

Register for your free ore test — then a line proposal

The free ore test is for registered members. Register (free, verified on WhatsApp), then send 5–10 kg of your material — every ore is different — and we test it free with a report within 5 days of receiving the sample. Price on request.
